I’m very happy to announce the release of the Neuron ESB 3.5 Cumulative Update 1 (CU1). It’s been about a month since we announced the Neuron ESB 3.5. This patch enhances the current release with several critical fixes and a few new capabilities. If you’re using Neuron ESB 3.5 today, you should download the Cumulative Update 1 patch to update your existing installation. Current customers can obtain either the Patch or the full installation from the Neuron ESB Support Site. If you are new to Neuron ESB, you can download the full installation from the Neuron ESB Web site. All the details of this release can be found in the Knowledgebase Article KB351-121114.
One of my favorite NEW features is the REST API documentation and test site that we now provide to manage Neuron ESB servers, endpoint health and configuration. In the 3.5 RTM release, we only provided a basic documentation site with no ability to test endpoints as shown in the image below.
The REST API documentation site has been completely replaced in the CU1 Update. Besides providing a better user experience it also now provides the ability to test any of the REST API endpoints directly from the documentation page.
Great work by the Neuron ESB Product team, most notably Michael Collins , Mark Tucker, Joe Klug and Manoj Talreja
